Everyone yearns for a comfy wealthy lifestyle where one can afford the top of the range luxurious products and services that are above the norms. One such comfy luxury is having a Jacuzzi where one can get to relax and get the body revitalized for instance after a long working day. A Jacuzzi spa or tub requires routine and proper maintenance as well as regular cleaning to maintain a healthy and serene atmosphere for the users.

Cleaning your Jacuzzi:Cleaning a Jacuzzi is a manageable process which one can do personally or hire a professional. The important thing is to use the proper equipment.

Requirements:

  • Vinyl cleaner
  • A submersible pump
  • Scrub brush for scrubbing the spa cover
  • A large sized bucket
  • Spa filter cleaner
  • Scrubbing Mitt
  • Spa Shell Cleaner
  • Towels
  • Garden hose
  • Water pre-filter

Steps:

  1. The first step should be cutting the power supply to the spa either by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker.
  2. Follow the instructions on your submersible pump to attach the garden hose to it and then immerse it in spa at the deepest point. Start your pump and make sure your hose directs to a safe draining place.
  3. Let your hot tub drain as you clean the spa cover which should be placed on a flat surface.
  4. Take your vinyl cleaner and spray the spa cover. Use your scrubbing brush to scrub it while working a section at a time.
  5. Use the hose to rinse the spa cover thoroughly and dry it using a towel or leaving it open in the air.
  6. After your spa is drained, take your spa shell cleaner and scrubbing mitt and enter the hot tub as it is easier to clean it from inside.
  7. Spray the vinyl cleaner on the whole tub interior and use the scrubbing mitt to scrub. Focus especially on the filter compartment which normally attracts a lot of dirt and grime.
  8. After a thorough scrubbing of your tub, use the hose to rinse it and put in the pump to drain the rinsing water. Any remaining water can be drained by towels.
  9. As you let the rinse water drain out, take off the spa filter and wash off any remaining debris with the hose.
  10. Take your bucket and fill it with water and then immerse the spa filter in it.
  11. Add spa filter cleaner to the water following the directions listed on the package and give the filter time to soak which should take at least 24 hours.
  12. When the filter soaking is finished, give it a thorough rinse using the hose and then replace it.
  13. Your spa is now clean and ready to be refilled. You should attach a pre-filter at the end of your hose which filters any impurities in the incoming water.

A Jacuzzi tub or spa should be highly maintained so as to offer comfort to the users. Regular cleaning should be observed normally once in every 3 months. One may also outsource the cleaning service to professionals who are experts in the field.
